Boba Recipe!

Hi all,

Today we will introduce to you one of our favorite boba recipes! Who doesn’t like the refreshing taste of milk tea with the perfect combination of sweet chewy boba pearls?

Tips and Tricks

  1. When making the pearls, you won’t be able to use as much tapioca starch as the recommended amount. Also, it helps to stir in half first on the stove and then knead in the other half by hand.

  2. It is not necessary to use black tea. I tried it with Jasmine, and it worked just as well as I prefer Jasmine milk tea. Using different teas could mean changing the number of tea bags used or how many spoons of powdered teas to use.

  3. It is very important to let the pearls sit in a bowl of cold water so that it firms up a bit.

  4. As you will be making brown sugar boba and braising it in a brown sugar syrup, it may not be necessary to add more sugar when making the tea. However, this is up to personal preference.

Enjoy making this!
