Stress...Stress...STRESS!

Hey guys,

We hope you all are doing well and staying safe and healthy! If your school has started already, hopefully it’s working out well! Today, we want to talk about different ways to manage stress. Everybody gets stressed out once in a while, and over the last few months given everything that’s been going on, you might find yourself getting more stressed and anxious than usual. So, here are some things you can do to manage your stress in health ways:

  1. Exercise! - Refer to one of our first blog posts to get a full understanding of how it can help to reduce stress, but continue to make sure you fit in some

  2. Meditation! Meditation is a good way to embrace whatever you are feeling, and it helps soothe your mind from everything that may be causing you to feel stressed.

  3. Chocolate! - While this may seem to be counterproductive, eating a square of dark chocolate can seriously uplift spirits, and it's an anti-angiogen

  4. Journaling - Writing down your thoughts and feelings at the end of the day may help let go of some of your stress.

  5. Getting enough sleep is also extremely important. Sometimes when you have a lot of work, you spend late nights trying to get it done, and the lack of sleep can add on to your stress.

  6. Superman Pose - if you feel down, put your hands on your hips and puff your chest out. This simple action is proven to help life spirits. And if not, you can laugh at how silly you look.

  7. Keep a smile on your face and laugh often. Studies have shown that the physical act of just laughing can help your mind feel happy too.

  8. Spend some time in nature! Go outside, get some fresh air, enjoy the sunlight, and remember that this stressful phase in your life will pass.

  9. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. No matter what happens, just remember to breathe.
